Donald Patterson has been teaching EFL at the university level since 2010 and joined Seirei Christopher University in Hamamatsu last year as an associate professor. In addition to teaching basic skills classes for nursing, rehabilitation, and social welfare students, he teaches a rehabilitation English course for physical therapy students. He also belongs to his school’s international exchange committee which coordinates programs with several healthcare universities abroad.
Donald is currently working towards a doctorate in higher education and serves as a reader for two journals. His current research interests include the internationalization of education, learner motivation, and healthcare English needs analysis.
