Gerry McCrohan

Gerardine (Gerry) McCrohan has been teaching in Japan for 20 years and is presently working at Kagawa University. Before coming to Japan she taught ESP, mainly scientific and medical English, in the UK. At Kagawa University Gerry teaches general and professional English to undergraduate students, including students at the Faculty of Medicine.

Gerry is interested in oral communication skills particularly communication strategies which enable students to overcome gaps in their linguistic repertoire.  She is also co-author with Ian Willey of a nursing English workbook (看単!Easy Nursing English: Nanzando, 2009).
