Hi Hayley, Thanks for questions. I think we're all feeling some frustration but if we can find a way to help each other through this forum that would be great. That's why it's here! Q1 & Q2) I have started my upper classes already as usual (70 students), but making sure windows are open and taking as many preventive infection measures as I possibly can. Students must monitor their health strictly and definitely not attend if they are not feeling well. We have to make sure of this before class starts as well. Classes are less communicative based and more lecture style but I'm trying to use WebClass for activities. It's limited but I don't want to be collecting papers and risking infection that way. Anyway, we've started and we have to make a difficult situation seem workable, teachable, learnable, and most importantly safe for everyone. Honestly it's very stressing indeed. As for incoming students, things are supposed to start at the end April, but since this is an evolving situation it's hard to say what will happen from here. For these classes we're probably going to go remote and use Zoom and other web technology. That's the bulk of my work right now in preparing for the untraditional. This will certainly get my out of my comfort zone. Q3) Sure, if there is something that I learn from this I will be more than happy to share resources and ideas.
