Rie Yamanouchi

Rie Yamanouchi works as an assistant professor at Kobe City College of Nursing since 2015. She teaches first- and second-year undergraduate nursing students, as well as graduate students majoring in nursing science.  The subjects she is currently in charge of are medical English conversations, reading medical English texts, academic presentations in English, and writing nursing academic papers.  Her main research interests are mainly in British novels, especially the works by the Brontës and D. H. Lawrence, and recently she is interested in the effects of medical humanities on nursing students in general.
