JAPAN ASSOCIATION FOR NURSING ENGLISH TEACHING

When we set out to create a logo, we thought about what we were trying to achieve and who we were hoping to involve. Perhaps a little obviously, the flame represents the light of Nightingale’s celebrated lamp, while the three strands of the flame and the three crescents represent collaboration between the three groups involved in our community: English teachers, nurses and students. The radiating crescents also represent the ever-widening circles of communication that are central to our professions.
